Does anyone remember the name of the Luton band that Greg Electric (Gregory Webster) used to be in? Later he was in The Razorcuts, excellent Byrds influenced jangly guitar outfit who released stuff on Creation records. In the same scene were Tallulah Gosh, one of whom, Liz Price came from Luton. Greg and Liz made a record together as The Carousel (I think).

Greg was in Cinematics (previously known as Rebel Style, International Rescue and Cosmetix). They released the "Farewell To The Playground" ep on their own Pulsebeat Records in about '81. More info at [url]www.thefriction.co.uk[/url] then click on Luton Punks.

greg was also in a ramones tribute band called chainsaw who gigged around 84/85

Greg is now in Sportique, see http://www.indiepages.com/matinee/artists/sportique.html and also released a solo album a few years ago.
