FORUM ETHICS

Forum issues and ethics

There have been a couple of issues raised in the Forums over the last
couple of days that need dealing with;

First let me remind you of some of our Legal obligations as stated on the
membership agreement:

“You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful,
threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any
applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and
permanently banned (and your service provider being informed).”

This applies to All USERS!

We must point out that our ‘legal’ obligations, as webmasters are also to
comply with the above terms.
Please read our 'Terms and conditions of usage'

We have an ‘open forum’ policy and allow/invite guests to post up freely
without having to register as a member. We do this because we believe
in free speech and an open and lively debate. We appreciate people’s
natural reluctance sometimes to go through the motions of registering
their membership details online and so have left this forum open for
anyone to post their messages. We would like to continue this way
however, we must take into consideration the loyalties of our registered
members. There have been 'incidents' of an abusive nature shown by
certain 'Guests' (and members taking the bait) towards our forum
community, which recently have 'stepped over the pale' This has got
to cease!

This is not the place for those who would vent their pitifull gripes and
abuse against members and other users. Yes this is a family forum
and we are proud of it!

The times we talk about are nearly 25 years ago and we all are subject
to the very real natural process of ageing. No one can help or do
anything about that, yes many of us are now middle-aged and have
families and probably have increased waistlines etc. So What? Most
people move on to other things and adapt to change; again it’s only
natural
“In a constantly evolving universe; anything that stands still is in effect
moving backwards”

Censorship is in my books a four-lettered word that I despise but in
order to have a censorship free society we have to take on board
responsibility for the self.
That means thinking carefully about any consequences that the actions
or words that one may produce, ‘Do unto others as you would have done
to yourself’

Punk was born out of controversy it was the motivating force that
nihilistically threw out the old guard and challenged with the new. It has
its place in history for doing just that.

But now we are in the 21st century and many other movements or trends
have come and have gone. Sticking to your Ideals and opinions is one
thing but using them as a stick to beat upon others is not on!

So to all..
Please be respectful to others when using this forum!
Thank you very much
WEREWOLF

Forum Terms of Usage

We don’t hold these rules with a big stick but have found it
necessary to give some basic guidelines to the way our Forums
are used.
