Happy Birthday Steve!
Thursday 28th October would have been Steve Harles Birthday!
{fixed! 06/06/05)
He would have been 43 today!

He is still remembered as if it were yesterday to many
To commemorate his birthday Spon has provided a bunch of Photos that
he took on the 1989 ‘Click Click’ tour, almost exactly 15 years ago to the
day!
As well as driving the tour bus Steve assisted Derrick in his drumming
and percussion duties, he got the nickname on the tour of ‘Our handsome
driver’ owing to his ‘smooth’ haircut! After this tour he let his hair grow
really long so as to shake off this nickname.
After Furyo, Steve often drove, tour managed, roadied and counselled
for bands such as ‘Faith over Reason’ as well as ‘Click Click’ and never
lost that travelling bug.
Some of these pics also feature Adrian Smith from Click Click who
co-incidentally shares the same birthday
Happy Birthday Adrian!!

yes well said, as though it was yesterday never very far from my toughts is Steve i hadnt know Steve for as long as some people but the time that i did know him short as it was he was a real good mate and an inspiration to me and many others the glass is still going well mate without you none of what i do would be poss,thanks for that time Steve and for the inspiration theres a bit of Steve in all of us whom he touched and time will never fade or cloud that those memorys Happy Birthday mate One Love

Steves Birthday October 28th 2005


Spon at Steves Tree, October 27th 2005.

Happy Birthday Steve!

The tree is looking healthy, whilst other trees in the grove
surrounding it are changing colour and shedding their leaves.

The grass has been cut short again as we head for winter.
Spon who is pictured here as with many others, often visits
the tree to have a few quiet moments with their old mate.
