Independence Day
Comment
'Food for thought'
In the UK Decay Today, do we celebrate Independence Day?
For it is symbol written in history and celebrated as such
by our cousins the Americans as a symbol of the break away
from the United Kingdom and her empire.
Don't blame them really for wanting that!
but you can't blame others for thinking the same!
Long live ‘Independence Day’ in the minds of the free!
Now if we could please be free from the tyrannical practices
of our governments and the new world order? _________________

What's there to celebrate? It's all about national pride and the worst kind of patriotism, veiled in some hypocritical rubbish about freedom and the American way of life (from Hollywood and the Big Apple to Falluja and Mai Lai). White Americans got to break away from the murderous British empire but native american indians and the slaves imported from Africa weren't welcome to the party.
Whatever next? Celebrating St George's Day because we don't like dragons and fire |

Independence day....
Hmm....Un thinkable a few years ago, and yet, now, with the increasing dominance of USA lead economy, the infiltration of American values, the continuing political association with America as an alternative to A Super Europe, we are left with a very real situation, the UK, identifying itself with America more and more the more it gets into bed over the War on Terror, itself, a device, a charade dealing in fear and insecurity.
This World Cup, did anyone get the feeling that there were just a few more St George flags than usual?
Independence day should be a historical celebration of the violent birth of one o the Worlds' first Republics, and like the French Revolution, was a step towards a genuinely new way of thinking and governing, but like all State Systems, its got its own hierarchy of priviledge, and Independence Day from England and King George just meant independence to keep slaves, and make war on Latin America...
Just another market colony
Just another big business Dictatorship _________________ BEDFORD'S ONLY 40 + TEENAGER |
