i presume this is true , on a completely different site i saw a mention that former sounds journalist johnny waller died recently. i always remember him as being right behind the band and gave some excellent reviews / interviews. sad news , i havn't got any details of what happened.

Have yet to find anything to find anything to comfirm or deny this news.
If true, this would be really sad news indeed!
As well as being at times 'generous' or 'sympathetic' to UK Decay and
the emerging movements of Goth and Posi-punk, Johnny Waller along
with the likes of Richard North, Mick Mercer and the Zig Zag magazine etc
at first challenged then ultimately changed the old school of music
journalism for the better.
If anyone does find out anything about this, please let us know!

I'm afraid it's true Johnny died in a road accident a good few year back now. He was a great character and was always enthusiastic. He'd gone from fanzines to papers, to running a photo agency. He had a family and was enjoying everything. Then some cunt knocked him off his bike.
