At the Drop Dead Festival in Lisbon in October - anybody thinking of going? Or indeed, anybody been prviously to a Drop Dead Festival?

Well, it did cross my mind, Roger- but there's no other band on the line-up so far that I would wish to see. So for 65 Euros, that's a lot for one band, even if it is UK Decay. (I've already checked the internet for various info on the D.D.Festival).

However, I've never been to Portugal- I've heard it's quite pleasant. Especially Lisbon.

How were the Sex Pistols in Birmingham on 11 June ? A bit of a cabaret ?
Their own tribute act ?

Sex Pistols were absolutely fantastic, much to my surprise and relief! No hint of a piss-take or "we're only here for the money". They looked like they were completely comfortable with who they are and what they are doing. It helped that it was a small(ish) venue. Bumped into Andy Attic as well.

I looked up the DDF, and couldn't find any mention of any other band! Perhaps Spon can tell us what night they're playing. I agree that 65Euros is a bit steep for one group, but for 5 nights it's fantastic value. I've never been to Lisbon either. I'm nearly seriously thinking about going.....

Whatever, I'll pop down to Brum for a few pints with you one sunny day in the summer!

Portugal is very nioce tho, Could think of worse places in Summer

Drop Dead Festival, Portugal?

We shall be making a full announcement on this as soon as we have more
details.
There are fifty plus bands and dj's schedulled over five days, starting
on wednesday 8th October with a beach party.

UK Decay Schedulled for Thursday 9th October.

Glad things are going (reasonably) smoothly.

Unfortunately, I'm spending all my hard earned pennies on the two Killing Joke gigs the weekend before in London.
