UK Decay in Italy !
UK Decay storm Italia....
Milan Musicdrome, 30th April 2009.
Bologna Covo 1st May 2009.
Rome Init on 2nd May 2009.
The Decadant Barbarians, hit Rome! (Via Milan and Bologna first!)
Bats over Milan Festival
UK Decay returned to the UK, having completed their first ever tour of
Italy last week. Three gigs in three days, a whistle stop tour maybe - but
what a three days!
In a nutshell, Milan was really good musically, the band are now getting
back to their former stride and tightness between the rhythms.
In atmosphere, perhaps not the usual moshing frenzy that we are all used
to with DK. But a diligent, attentive, friendly and well styled up crowd.
Many of whom were singing along to the popular DK songs.
No encore here as the venue management were threatening to pull the
plug as the show had overrun the curfew point.
Overall this was DK tuned to a listening frequency as there was a
thumping good sound, with ethereal vocal and guitars soaring amidst
ED and Rays bouncy rhythms.
Abbo was suffering from the flue (not swine!) but once again performed
admirably. As did the whole of the band.
You can catch this entire show for yourself on Youtube in HD !
The footage as always with DK, is on the dark side (wadja expect!),
but the soundtrack is really not bad if you perhaps turn up the bass a
little. There is a link to a Youtube Playlist here

Next Bologna and then Rome, but sadly that will have to wait as this
werewolf is still tired & knkrd from the recent Italian job!
