Steinberg have announced Wavelab 5, now offering full multi-channel surround support and DVD Audio mastering and authoring, WaveLab 5 will ship to Steinberg resellers from 19th April, 2004 so get to a emule near you today!
Tip of the day
there are two ways under XP to get rid of redundant hardware components:
Right click on 'My Computer', then chose 'properties', klick on 'advanced' and then on 'variables'. There - under user defined variables'- chose 'new' and give it exactly the name:'devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices' (with the underlines) and the value '1'.
Then device-manager will show you - colorless - the installed, but not used components which you can delete now.
If this doesn't work, log in as administrator, open the registry-editor, go to HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum. Search for the device, you wanna get rid of (think under IDE or USB you'll find it), right-click on it and chose authorization. Add yourself - the administrator - with the option of 'full access', and then you can delete it.
Ok have fun PJ...[img]
