My my. nothing for a year, so ......bands -

Check out 'gogol bordello' doing '60 revolutions' on you tube. Strummer influence can be a good thing.

Reminds me of 'Les Negresses Vertes' the 80's band from Marseille, doing 'Zorbi la mouche', both of which could be seen as european versions of the clash, crossed with the pogues.

Also ,just to be different, 'Pink Martini' if you like cuban/spanish/ type stuff.
