sounds great. always remember the 2 brilliant support slots from blood and roses & the sisters of mercy at the klub foot dec 82 , what a brilliant night that was.

i don't recognise a lot of those tracks on that b&r cd ; are these demos or live tracks or what? i've got the old album and that's definitely well worth having. p

There is all of the LP, some tracks of the first 12", the song from 'The Whip' plus (most interesting to me) 4 unreleased demos for an aborted 2nd LP
Great sleevenotes from Bob Short where he talks about going in to sign on & the bloke behind the counter recognising him from the cover of that week's NME (Richard North's Positive Punk piece)! Laughing

This is truly a great release! I worked with CherryRed on it trying to gather some extra material to make it worth buying even if you got all the records before. The "new" tracks are all great.
We never managed to find the speed version of Breakdown initially recorded for a single...

Anybody got a copy of the "Life after death" cassette?

Blood and Roses MySpace with 4 tracks from the CD:

Just got Bob Short's 'Trash Can' book!
This is a superb book by the former BLOOD & ROSES guitarist. Great punk rock tales from Sydney & London! Only complaint is that it was over too quickly!
