The Aylesbury gig (Friars) was superb with both bands putting on an excellant show, Killing Joke headlined but by the numbers in the hall you wouldn't have known it, (a double A side goth gig)

Well, personal favourite(s) are:

The Crauford Arms, Wolverton, July 1979, with Spizz Energi...I think this was the last gig as The Reziztors...just before the Split Single came out...

Luton Technical College January 1980. Headlining over Bauhaus! Just so fxxking brilliant it hurts to remember too clearly...first time I heard "Rising from the Dead" and "For My Country".

Worst time was late 82 at the Roadmenders Club Northampton...I thought the lads had lost it...too arty-farty...still brilliant though!

Werewolf, I wonder if the 'Riff Raff' you mention here are the same Riff Raff that was billy braggs first band. At this time (1980ish) he was in a band of he same name, operating out of the Rushden/Bedford area. it may be to early but the mention of arriving in a big car mede me think because in the billy bragg biog, it is mentiond that the father of the girl billy was going out with used to drive them to gigs in his big estate car!

Hi/ Re.the question of Riff Raff!

Riff Raff was the female Bass player of Berlin band 'The Trashers',
who played a number of support gigs with UK Decay.
They arrived from Berlin in a large old Mercedes which was rammed full
of their backline and baggage.
I dont think they knew of Billy Brag at the time!
Riff Raff was also an accomplished photographer who took that series
of shots from Berlin in the picture gallery.
It is not known what Riff Raff or anyone else in 'The Trashers' is up too
at the moment, it would be great to know!

Leighton Youth Club - what a gig! Condensation coming of the ceiling, I thought I was being spat at, pissed on snakebite loving Play Dead - thanks Ian

Some gig at 33 - Phil F spraying beer over the band, Spon frothing at him because of his gaffe, c'est la vie, meeting up with a v-e-r-y old friend!

Happy days, vague, blurred and sadly gone.
