Wasn't "Do You Believe in the Westworld?" by Brandon's previous band, Theatre of Hate?

A dancy indie thing in the early 80's.... "Go West" by the Pet Shop Boys? No very indie and probably too early for that...

Maybe "Go West" by The Cult or is that also too early?

If you type in a lyric on Google, you can normally find what you're looking for.

Who was the Blockers DJ circa 81-82 then? And before anyone asks, it wasn't Ernie, the fastest milkman in the WEST either!

Maybe another Pet Shop Boys song, "West End Girls"?

Or, if you're on the right substances, maybe "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles"... about West Ham United FC.

I saw Osibisa there. Then it became Bob Wheatley's Cesar's Palace where I was incarcerated for my sins for 3 years. I could tell you some tales of club life there iff you have a few days. I can confirm that Spon did the follow- spott-light there for Freddy Starr!!!! He also laid in to the Captain there one night.. I guess he deserved it. The Belts live forever !

Was that after I had been ejected for my lack of vision into Nightclub Land Mr BMW driver?
I seem to remember a few mad nights there at Cesars... Whats was the other spotlight guys name? Skinny guy with BIG eyes...
Ah yeah, it is all coming back to me now, we both worked the lights yeah, and I had to control that fukin big spaceship that fell off the ceiling one night :p
Getting stoned and drunk with Chas and Dave in 'The Star's' dressing room was really funny when Wheatley walked in and could just not understand what we were doing there having a good time when he wasn't invited!
And then getting on the old XL250 Honda drunk and riding happily home... Laughing
