New Home Page!

Have modified the 'opening page', Frank reckoned that the previous page looked out of balance, he was right! ' Hey I am not ashamed to admit I am a begginner at this' so we followed his recomendations.
He suggested an idea that we have a 'moving image that catches the eye- that provides a function'!

So from now on 'We are going to call this 'The Law of Frank'! we let movement draw your eyes towards making a click that has a 'managed purpose'! GEE Whiz!

THE PURPOSE:- when entering the site you will be faced by our 'Home page'. The focus of attention created by the moving 'gifs' and 'swf's' is to lead you to 'click' the moving 'Unexpected Guest' in the small logo.

Doing so will lead, if you have a 'microsoft windows Media Player' to a track from 'For Madmen Only' album, 'Unexpected Guest that will start playing! ( you may have to be a bit patient here-especially if you are on Dial-up).

We will be adding more tracks to the site music section eventually, including some previous unreleased material!

refining the look!
Been tweeking the look of the forum ( if anyone objects please post it on this thread or send me a 'PM')
After a meeting with SDZ ( our server! whiz-kid) we are going to introduce in the next few weeks some brand new elements to our website!
so keep your eyes on it!
Also been steadily 'modifying and hopefully improving' the look of the site, getting our heads round acheiving the maximum functionality with the incorparation of style and ease of use!
There is always a long way to go! We are 'learning' all the time! however, if there are any problems or 'constructive opinions and or comments' that anyone out there has, please dont hesitate to post a message or PM me.

Problem on the new 'Press' page Frank!

There apears to be a 'bug' on the new 'Press Archive' pages.

There is no problem navigating as long as you have the 'Left SlideBar' on the page, but if you lose it then your in trouble when you have the page on its own as the 'Links' dont work!
You can 'right click' and 'open link in new window', or you have to re-open the 'Home' page.

Apologies to anyone who may be experiencing difficulties this will be put right in a couple of days!

We are getting someone to 'transcribe' the text of this 'Sounds' article that apeared Feb. 5th 1983. This article was UK Decay's first major 'Front Page' in the UK music press, and was published one month after the band split up.
