5 new pics submitted to UK Decay 'Classic' Gallery!

Kindlly submitted by 'PaulRabJohn' from his personal collection, these are 'Live' snaps from the early 1982 Leicester, UK gig.

New batch of 'Press and Archive material arrived!

We were 'gobsmacked' yesterday morning when the post arrived! A large envelope included a Stack of carefully scanned/photocopied articles and reviews, all done on 'A3' standard paper!.
many thanks to 'PaulRabJohn' for this stuff...it is going to be a fantastic inclusion to the website! And much respect for making all of this stuff available for all to see!

Over the next few days we shall be posting this up in the gallery...but it is going to take a little time to 'text transcribe' as there is literally so much of it!...On that subject...many thanks to 'Ella Jo' for her contribution in getting two articles finished...she is ready to do more...but as she has suffered 'RSI' injuries in the past...she wants to take it steady...so please be patient!
Also a big thank you to 'Monokrom' who has also sent in material!

Watch out for the new Forums and Gallery sections on 'Furyo' and In Excelsis'...we hope that they will be online after the Bank holliday weekend ...so please tell your friends! and remember...if you have stuff in your old scrapbooks or photo albums that you would like to share on UK Decay, Furyo or In Excelsis, or stories and reminiscenses to tell or chat about, this will be the place!
Watch this space!

Paul Rab John Scrapbook now online!
Pauls scrapbook has now a special section in the gallery. We decided in keeping with the scapbooks overall concept that the best way to present it is the way that paul presented it in his scrapbook!

SO HERE IT IS NOW ONLINE!

Many thanks to Paul Rab John

New 'LO-Band' homepage

We have now added a 'Low- Band' ( Dial-up) text based 'Home-Page'.
So if you are are a Lo-Band user you may want to navigate throughout
the website and forums using the new 'Lo-Band' pages.
Bookmark/Favourite the page if you prefer to use it!

The two green links at the top of the 'Lo-home' page will 'toggle'
the 'Left-Slide' bar on and off, for those with smaller screen resolutions.

Also on the usual ( 'HI-Band') pages will have links to the new 'LO' band
website, so you will be able to 'Mix and Match' if you choose!

In the near future we shall be presenting a new 'ENTER' window on the
main 'Index' page, which will be to give the user the choice of 'HI' or
'LO' Band pathways

We are constantly working to develope and improve the sevices that
UK Decay Communities provide. The 'Lo-Band' developement of the
site is a result of the feedback that we have received from users, so
we shall always remain open to taking on our users ideas and comments.
So please dont be afraid to send us any comments-feedback-ideas!
that you may have.

update August 15th 2004!
This week has been dominated by the 'Pokers' gig wich was schedulled
to be at The 'Well', but with less than 2 days to go was changed to the
'Cork and Bull' (which was coincidentally was formally known as the
'Grapevine!).
This ironic twist of fate provided an exellent backround for what was to
become a kind of imformal reunion of the 'Luton Punk Scene'.
Blinks 'Pokers' provided us with their upbeat 'Punk and Roll' set which
had a certain Paul Goodwin who had dressed for the occasion in 'Bondage'
ala Punk / 'Seditionary' trousers, pogo-ing down the front! good on you
Paul!!
So all round it was a brilliant evening, and it will certainlly have to be
done again!
Many thanks to all !!!

We posted up in the Fanzine gallery for our French freinds a 'UK Decay'
interview that appeared in the French Fanzine, 'Agent Orange'.
ella has text transcribed it ( in French!) and that will be posted up in the
next couple of days. However if anyone reading this has any ideas how
we may, or knows someone who can translate this interview into English,
please give us a shout!

Click to go there

Also minor updates to the 'LO-Band' pages.
We are getting closer to updating the 'entry-point' to the 'UK Decay'
website. This will mean there will be a 'Welcome' page that gives users
both 'LO' and 'High' options, this is being planned to make life easier
for those with 'Dial-up' and perhaps older and slower PC 's
Watch this thread for further news on this!

Also this week 'Dharmasister' has left sunny Luton for Florida to continue
her studies! We wish her the best of luck!! and hope to see her soon!
More on this

Anyway thats it for now. Please give us any feedback if you get the
chance!
