Oh yeah, The Rattlesnakes. Greg on drums but I can't remember who else. I think I've got a picture of us standing under the Girly Prats flashing sign that Masked Kitty remembers - I've also got a feeling it was us that programmed it to say that.

Of course - what an idiot I am! I remember you now, Blink! How's things? I saw Greg about a year ago on one of my infrequent trips back to Luton. He told me what a hard time he had had but how he was working things out. He seemed to have got on top of demons at that point in time - is he still OK?

Passchendale pictures in Gallery

View Larger Images in Luton and LU7 gallery

Thanks to Phill Keefe for these pictures 'Passchendale goes to Paris'
3 candid photos of the band on their way to Paris 1983
They played with IN Excelsis at some large theatre in the 'Opera'
district. It was a perfect example of what can happen in a positive way
when Lutonians go on 'away-day'

Anymore Pictures of 'Passchendale' or the 'Party Girls' anyone??

If so lets have em please Laughing would really like to open up a Gallery
for them but at the moment there are not enough pictures of these bands.

If anyone has got any pictures that they would like to contribute
please in the first instance email me

werewolf@ukdecay.co.uk

cheers

Thanks to Ray & Dan for contributing these fine and memorable pics
of 'The Party Girls', more are promised and a whisper of MP3's
to come! We look forward!

If anybody else has any more pics of the Party Girls or any of the other
contemporary 'Post-Punk'y' bands from the Luton /Area from the 80's
We would be happy to host them in our specialised galleries.

We are pretty certain that we are building up the World Wide Web's
largest resource of Band & Faces from the Luton/area's Punk and
alternative music scenes of the late 70's and 80's.

This is thanks to all those that have contributed to make it so!
So lets keep em coming in!

Does anyone have a giglist for The Party Girls btw? That would be
interesting!

Justin, Alan and Liz form Bedford, sent in these 2 scan's of a Party Girls
and Straw Dogs show in Bedford. Not sure what year the gig was, it's
bound to be in the mid 80's however.

Pat Keating randomly turned up at my place last summer. He was a good guy, I learned how to make spliffs with the copious quantities of ganja he used to 'distribute' many years ago.
He is still smoking the spliff and making some very moody tunes with his rather splendid partner Karen, an excellent classical guitarist, deep in the heart of the Irish countryside.(let me know if you want these Spon)
In only true Pat style he runs dog kennels for a living, something I am sure he would be doing regardless of being paid for it or not!
We exchanged a few phone calls and emails but he seems to have slumped back into whatever it is he is slumped in now, possibly moody tunes and ganja!
It's a funny ol' world...
