Hey y'all Grettings from post-Ivan Pensacola! We have electricity now woohoo! So anyway, since not a lot is going on in this city, other than a major repair and clean-up operation, I was thinking... You guys MUST have some cool party stories you'd love to share with us. Whether they be funny, silly or outright outageous, please entertain me! I want your stories... An example might be a nameless individual who was chased by a copper at a free party, ran straight into a reservoir and had to rescue the police officer trying to catch him, who nearly drowned in the process, and was subsequetly banged up for the nite!

Look forward to some scintillating stories! _________________ May you be well, May you be Happy, may you be free from suffering!

Nice to see your safe Dharma

Great to hear from you Dharma!

As you are currently living in Pensacola we kept our eyes on the

tropical hurricane 'Ivan the terrible' as it made its progress across

the Carribean. Day by day as speculation as to the course of the

storm grew into concern and finallly anxiety, as it became apparent

you were going to be hit full on.

In fact 'Ivan' made landfall at 'Mobile' just a few miles away and

all we were hearing on the media was that millions of people had

already evacuated and that they were advising folk to get inland,

or get as 'high up' as possible and seek shelter!

The last communication with you was the evening of wed 15th sept.

on 'Yahoo' and you were describing the darkening skies and the

flashing of power transformers blowing up as the winds picked up.

On thursday morning the terrible damage inflicted by the hurricane

was all over the headlines and the number of casualties was rising,

we were concerned. We wondered how you were and kept our eyes

on your 'Yahoo' icon for signs of life...but nothing! Tried phoning and

texting you again nothing!

Thats how it was for the next six days as we watched the news, which

told of massive damage, curfews and rising fatality figures. No-one had

heard from you and the only 'optimism' that we had to go on was the

fact that the power was out in your district, information we had obtained

from the emergency university website.

Finally on tuesday 21st september, you re-established contact..relief!!

So your confined to 'barracks' everything is shut down for repairs,

'Curfew' still partially in place and cant even get into your lodgings,

its kind of your friends to put you up

LOL Well thats a great yarn is it fact??

Welcome back Dharma!!!

Sounds the kind of thing that although unlikelly, probablly did happen

to some 'unfortunate' party soul!

Great Idea Lets have your 'Awesome Party Stories' here, I can think

of a few...

.'at an Exodus party' deep in a sandpit nr Leighton Buzzard a few years

ago now, our group who had partaken in a wild night of Partying, we were

returning to the car as we aproached it my mate shouted out...BEES!

..trying to focus schmeeneyed eyes and adled minds ..a gigantic cloud

emerged out of the woods nearby and was heading our way!...it was a

swarm of bees....we got into that car moments before the swarm

descended on it, and the light in the car faded with the sheer numbers!

I had a little voice in my head saying 'just send them love they wont

harm you-they are on there own mission' thus it was, within moments

they were gone!

However on the journey home, we kept getting the odd bee that had

somehow managed to get inside, popping up and causing panic!

we had a good laugh about it when we got back...'

There were often odd stories and moments for many of the parties

we attended and there is a few more that i could tell..when I get a

moment!

 Lets have your stories!!!!
