Are these guys moonworshipers?

Seriously! nice one for the review 'Smurfglass' its always good to see Live Band reviews, keeping in with the 'spirit of fanzines' that was prevelant at the time of the fanzines such as the 'Suss'.

This is today and this is a forum obviously dedicated to the life and times of UK Decay however the ideals dreams and philosophies of the band and the people didnt just 'vanish' when the band split up! The 'threads' that were created carry on right up to this day! and so its only natural to be interested in where some of these 'threads' have ended up!

So Keep em coming in! its real interesting to read peoples reviews and experiences of the 'alternative music culture' Also if its relevent or it is known what the bands website address is, it would be real nice to post up a link to it!

bands ? Well not quite alternative today perhaps, but Arthur Lee and Love, whom i'm lucky enough to know, played a blinder at the Nottingham Rescue Rooms las month. Sort of a warm up gig before their british tour. Their original guitarist, Johnny Echolls, was with them as well as Mike Randell, and what a revelation. He sure has been practicing all these years. Played like a Chicago bluesman, some riffs i'll tell ya. All the better for being in a small, slightly grotty basement club. Going to see them at Milton Keynes Stables theatre in July too. Also going to Joaquin Cortez at the albert hall. Viva Espania. Yeah baby...J x.

still quiet then.........we're going to Paris next month to see my friend 'boysie' battram play with his band 'king pleasure & the biscuit boys'
in 'le caveau de la huchette' in the Latin Quarter. They are a top jump jive band if you're interested, and play the Montreux jazz festival, Marbella, Dubai etc.(as well as the bar in the village pub) on occasion.
Check out their LP's or the studio youtube clip, the live ones are bad quality................... x
