Mojag are influenced by goth, rock and alternative music, and are releasing an album on local label Dawg Records. We have stunning visual projections and other unusual stuff planned for our album launch gig, while our very own DJ, Steve Pipe, will be playing goth and rock classics throughout the evening...
Quote: | Mojag turn in a brilliant set - aided by a wonderful female vocal, there is undoubtedly a hint of Banshees to be heard, with dark, tense, winding songs and heavy outbursts - but there is more besides, as the band really can rock, making for a great live act that you never tire of. Intelligent, hard hitting and darkly tinged, we really like these so check 'em out at your earliest convenience! Sarah Neon |
Quote: | Female fronted goth rock... Mojag's sounds bask between The Cure's Pornography and Hawkwind's punk-era Levitation - with the added advantage of a deepened early Cocteau's vocal... This is a new brand of goth for the post-rock era. Mojag combine complex sounds and musicianship with energy and attitude...
