The Split Single at no 74..in the rarest 100 indie records of 1976 to 1980!
According to Spiral Scratch!

http://80music.about.com/library/ukcharts/bl_rarenewwave76-80c.htm

Clicking this link will take you to the '80music.about.com' website that details the top 100 listings ( page 51 to 100 ) check out NO.74!

The 'Split Single' was UK Decays first release in collaberation with another Luton band 'Pneumania'..I hear this item is selling for a fortune and is a collectors peice!

hmmm there was over a thousand of these released in 1979 what a thought if the band could have got forty quid a unit, back then!

Bauhaus - Dark Entries is at number 64, so rarer than the split single?

I just checked GEMM and there are hundreds of them for sale, compared to one copy of the split single which is selling for £80.50 and another copy on ebay currently at £15 and rising.

i think there is a rare version of "dark entries" on a small label (axis?) and then a re-issue on beggars. the former is the one worth big bucks.

i've seen split singles go for £75 on ebay. not selling mine though Smile p

Frank suggested that we dig out the stamps and start 'knocking em out
again' at that kind of price!

Just think, a couple thousand at that price!...hmmm

Just for the sake of having everything more so than anything else. It's the only one I'm missing, but I wouldn't pay that kinda silly money for it, especially after having heard the songs from a HEM HEM HEM source.

I'd still like to have it though, but I'd love it if there was a way to get money to the band members for this...
