Watch this Space!
Quote: | We are getting closer now to the opening of the 'official' UK Decay website. The complilling and 'scanning in' of old photos and other artifacts has proved very time consuming but worth it! Very soon we hope to establish an online picture gallery, as well as never seen before 'flyers' and stickers! from the 400 plus concerts.
There will be a complete discography of all the bands releases as well as Interviews and Future News and information. Also there will also be a full 'online' version of 'The suss' fanzine.
This forum will engage and debate matters and Topics relevent to the bands History and Influence in the 'Heady' days of the 'Post Punk' revolution that swept the music scene in britain in the early eighties. It will also debate the history of so called 'Gothic Music'.
see you soon...werewolf |
Off Course the website is now open.It has been since April 15th 2004!

|
|
Preperation of the online version of the 'Suss' magazine is under way.
Have had a busy week and the first version of the 'Suss' is taking longer than we anticipated. Initially we got the size wrong so have to back and increase the size of the source file, the downside of this being that it may take a little longer to download!
Much of the original 'Suss' was 'handwritten' and photocopied and even the text was at the time writen on an ancient typwriter with worn typfaces. This coupled with 'wear and tear' has meant an extraordinary amount of re-constructive proccessing which is always going to take more time.
We are sure however the wait will be worth it!
What we are aiming for is the worlds first 'online' reproduction of a genuine 1970/80 fanzine! With all the added benefits of Web interactivity!
Please be patient...sometimes it can be too easy to be overconfident on such thing as timescales etc.
We are moving forward..this is always going to be evolutionary!
And the Patience will duly be rewarded!

Wanted!
We need contributers!
In an ever expanding website we now find ourself in the situation where we could actually use some help!
Unfortunatelly, there is no funding at this stage for any kind of fee or wage, like all these things, we are best described as 'enthusiasts', but you never know! the object of the founders members of this website, is to bring 'The Real truth about UK Deacay' to the 'World Wide Web'.
But if there is someone out there who is 'adept' in 'Typing' and 'Writing' skills who also has a little knowledge of the world wide web and can maybe afford to spend a couple of hours now and then to ' logisticate' in the 'furtherance' of this website and is interested enough...please contact us... werewolf@ukdecay.co.uk _________________

Gonna have to improve service to Dial-up users!
I do apologise to Dial-up users!
It has been pointed out that the 'Home Page' takes too long to load up!!
OK point taken,,,I just tried it on Dial-up' and it is too f**ng slow!
We will be loking at this over the next few days and hopefully our 'tech guys' will find a solution.
Thank you for pointing this out.....we need your feedback!
