UK Decay's general discography went out of print in the eighties, it was only ever released on vynyl so there has been a demand on the second-hand market on the internet.
A 'google' search threw up scores of 'hits' on various of the releases and it was staggering to find out what some people were paying for them!
However a track or two has been seen on various compilations that have been out over the last 10 years or so
including 'Gothic rock' vol1
this included 'Testament' from the 'Rising from the Dread' EP
last year sept 2003,
saw the release of a previouslly unheard version of the 'classic' 'For my Country' as part of the Rough Trade 'Post Punk' complilation
Both these CD's are still widely available in the marketplace,
As for a general re-release of UK Decay Watch this space
You might want to take a vote in our 'Poll' which is herehttp://www.ukdecay.co.uk/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=10
ok cheers for now!

If you go to www.gemm.com you will probably find anything you are looking for if you are prepared to pay through the nose for it.
I recently got hold of the Brigandage cassette F.Y.M. by getting in touch with Richard North, after i'd been looking for it for years, so do any of the band members have left over copies of the Night For Celebration cassette or the peel sessions that they would be willing to sell? |

great to see you here iain welcome!
Welcome to the forum
I answer to your question about 'A Night For Celebration'
Between us here i reckon I am the only one left who has got a copy or at least I should have! I hav'nt seen it for some time. I guess I will have to do a trawl!
I do have half a memory of there being a 'DAT' version of this around which i would have thought 'Southern Records' would have a 'Master' copy..see:-

ebay is always worth a go - I recently got an almost mint copy of "Dread" from there for less than a fiver c/w insert sheet.
