'Dharma Sister' in the 'Eye' of hurricane 'charley'!
We at UK Decay Communities send 'Dharmasister' best wishes and love
for her new life in 'Pensacola' (Florida). She will be stationed there for the
rest of the year where she will be continuing her studies.

At 2am (UK time) this morning (August14th) the 'eye' of hurricane Charley
passed right over Orlando ( where she is currentlly staying).
We here in Luton witnessed the experience through 'Dharma's' Live
Web-Cam of which she had pointed through her hotel window!
Absolutely stunning as we watched the great winds lashing the Palm
trees and the rains pounding the windows, at one point we see a tree
literally torn out from the ground. There was also lots of Flashes
which Dharma attributed to generators and power transformers ark-ing.
Normally you would be a bit concerned for your friends or familly
especially if you knew they were going to be passing through the
middle of a grade 4 hurricane! well we were online all through it!
and we even noted the quitening down as the Eye passed over her
at 2am! .it lasted no more than 3 or 4 mins before the winds picked
up again
So was Dharma and her familly worried? 'Nah we are in a big Hotel
that is designed to take hurricanes'. just a bit of excitement on her holliday!
For us here in Luton it was an extra-ordinary example of communication
that wont be forgotten in a long time!
Anyway Dharma is going to be getting some pics of the aftermath,
which she will be posting up on her 'Live Journal'
