Hi Guys!
I have just made the following entry on the Faces thread:
"Apologises to all former members of Screaming Blue Murder, I would never claim that it was "my band" as I believe that I only ever did 2 gigs with them!
Also found in the attic was a pocket diary from 1982. According to this I actually had to audition to join the band to replace Tracy Garret who had moved to London. Screaming Blue Murder fell apart shortly afterwards, hopefully not because of my atrocious vocals!
I would've said that it was Alan's band more than anyone elses as certainly during my time with them, he was the Master and Commander!"
So the "My Band" didn't come from me, okay? I'm please you could remember the name of the pub Blink, it was a bit of a blur to me. I'll see what other photos I can dig up Alan, next time I visit my Ma's. I am positive that there are more.... |

OOPs! Anees band!
Sorry Anee and all, that "my band" bit came from my original post
earlier on this thread I think, I actually said "her band" lol
There was no inferance intended to suggest that you actually owned the
band, sorry if it came out that way.
"Doh - Shoot the Werewolf"!
It goes back really to my earlier question on the same post
"what was the definitave line-up of the band? "
To a small degree Blink has answered that but I am sure there must be
enough memorie cells between us all to peice back together the past.
Not only in the case of Screaming Blue Murder but of UK Decay and all
the bands, people and events that happened 20 years ago or more!
It does get 'blurry' sometimes although there are some that can
remember astonishing detail.
The point is, is that we can all help to fill-in others gaps in their
recollections. That at times can be a 'double edged sword' I guess!
But at the end of the day the positive aspects I am sure will
out-weigh the negative ones!
Lhe debate about Screaming Blue Murder commence!
Thats a trully wicked photo of you Anee btw! _________________

"drums" has nothing to do with it. _________________ Editors note:
