Memories of the infamous 'Switch Club' which was prevelant in Luton during the mid eighties.

we would like to gain contact with the people behind 'The Coven' who do a night at a central Luton establishment once a month.
We have tried their e-mail link but it doesnt work!
Anyone out there who has info about them please contact us here Thanx

Shall seek out the Coven!
Werewolf and co are off up to the Coven tonight, we shall be
see-ing whats on offer at 'the best Goth club North of London'!
hope they tolerate long ears and noses, up there!
Seriouslly 'Tony 'Ippy' reckons its really good so we shall have
a 'nose around' for an hour or two! After all its only a short 'crawl'
from here at Aldwyck Towers, The dead center of Luton!
I could do it 'on all fours' in a couple of mins
Right must go! its time for my mushrooms!

Glad you enjoyed yourself. Always encouraging to hear good words spoken about The Coven from such a seasoned pro!
I like to feel that we represent, and play, to the more matured audience, especially as my roots come from the old Switch club (back from ETs) and my passion for my music will always be there.
Alex & I have successfully managed to keep The Coven going through all kinds of shit and with the help of my good wife (as featured in Novembers Coven flyer) and the various partners of Flame, we've kept things ticking over. So any (free) advertising is always appreciated.
Word of mouth is the best any club can get - so keep spreading the good news.
Sorry we didn't get introduced. Hopefully at the next Coven night.[/b] |
