hey sound like you already new the answer to the qeustion you want to know but i am afarid to tell you your sounding a bit like a top of the pops presenter the real name you are looking for is Underground,or a jug band Parts of it were appearing as folk and other paqrks were rock but there secret to success was being a happening and a performance anti war sold it .
