As ever, another thread gets rubbished. Allow me to quote myself:
Bugsy wrote: | I had more than half a dozen people chattin to me about UKDecay, even a couple of Spaniards were fans. |
What I was trying to get across, was that I was surprised at what a global impact UKDecay had. Not that my avatar is drinking milk, or what a hero, or f****** idiot I may or may not be.
Jeeez. |

I wouldn't want to rubbish your thread; in fact I'd be interested to know more.
I was only curious about the avatar, not enough to start a seperate thread about it. |

I think the avatar that Buzby uses is a cop out. Without getting into the Clockwork Orange debate, a picture of a fat, boring , twat , binding books will probably appear less cool than the one he has chosen. A picture of Bernard Manning swigging a yard of ale and talking shite would be more appropriate. |

Hey leave our Bugsy alone!
I do hope these comments are meant to be taken 'light-heartedly'
I do sense a bit of bitching going on here and don’t wish for this
thread to 'De-Generate' into a 'Flame-War'!
All members can post-up their own Avatars if they so choose
a thing that unsolicited guests cannot do. So if you prefer hiding behind the
anonymity of a guest and are gutless enough not to reveal your true names.
please be respectful to those that do.
Avatars are not necessarily meant to be taken too seriously.
as you can see from mine!
Respec & Regards

I'd rather stick to Bugsy's original thread about the global impact UK Decay had. I had the impression that no-one here in Italy had ever heard of them, only to do a search of Italian sites and find a lot of interest. From a brief, if not conclusive, flick through some sites, the band seem to be regarded as one of the most important goth bands ever - in Italy goth is called "dark" - and they tend to be listed up there with groups who were, lets say, more "commercially successful" in terms of record sales and media exposure, like Siouxsie, etc...
FWIW: The Bugsy I remember was thoughtful, witty, helpful, generous and kind - a million miles from any shite talked by Bernard Manning so I don't know what Dee Generate's on about. |
