Me and a friend were discussing our ventures to clophill when she mentioned when leaving the church you must walk backwards and not turn your back on it , i instisted this was not true as i have visited it freaquently and reasearched on the internet about it and have never heard this tale , please some one who knows much about it tell me if this is true!! thankyou!!

Those acquainted with pre-Vatican II Roman Catholic or Oriental Orthodox traditions will know this one.

It is traditional to walk backwards out of the church (i.e. not to turn your back on the image of God).

But who gives a FUnK now jump sideways if you want.
