Anti-Capitalism includes 23 tracks, 17 of which are previously unreleased or exclusive versions, including a previously unavailable version of a Crass track, the prime movers in the anarcho punk scene, plus rare and unheard material from some of the scenes other leading names: Conflict, Rudimentary Peni, Antisect, The Epileptics plus some of the Anarcho punks scenes stalwart acts: Culture Shock, D&amp;V, Legion Of Parasites, Living Legends, Hex, Cravats, Danbert Nobacon and a host of lost scene legends: Atomic Filth, Freeborn, Anarka &amp; Poppy, Kulturkampf, Committee and many more. The chunky 24 page booklet contains biographies, info, rare photos and contact details with a foreword written by Penny Rimbaud, founder member of Crass, that recalls the time when punk meant so much more than fashion, hairstyle and pop tunes and was a rallying call to the many thousands of young punks who formed bands, pressure groups, campaigned against the war machine, protested against capitalism, collectively created their own local scene, wrote fanzines and marched against injustice. It is great to see Luton's Dominant Patri finally made it onto
this excellent release. Good use of this website and forum helped to
re-unite the producers of the compilation with members of the band!
I have heard in good faith that DOMINANT PATRI's- Death Of Thomas,
is one of the best tracks on the whole compilation, Greg has been
annoying his neighbours by the none stop playing of it!
We shall look forward to hearing it.
