I was refered here from the deathrock message boards. I really like UK Decay, just so I get that out there to stop any sort of annoyance. Also, plan to stay. Anyway:
I really like Bone Orchard a lot, and cannot find any information on them. I'd really like lyrics, biographies, pictures, and where they are now. I've already got the one website that deathrock.com did, but can anyone help me beyond that? I admire the vocalist VERY much. I'd like to know everything I can about them. I'm sort of getting desperate now, pretty sure this is the only place left for me to ask. _________________ Marianne

Aaahh Bone Orchard thats a name from the past.They played the library in Luton.
The singer Chrissy McGee lived in Luton(for about a year),worked behind the bar at The Royal Oak Leagrave.Study fashion design in Brighton and New York.Drank in The Baron of Beef Luton(old punk hangout).Her sister lived in Harpenden.
Thats enough for now. _________________ Just another leather jacket

Bone Orchard & Party Girls video
If all goes well and 'Dan-the-Man' gets his act together, we shall be
showing footage from the Bone Orchard/Party Girls gig at the
Library Theatre in Luton in 1984 (ish!) on a large screen, This will
be shown at our forthcoming
“Class of 1979 – 1989 Reunion II” - Hat factory,
Luton, on Saturday, January 27th 2007
more info here
Has anyone out there got a flyer for the "Occult Radio" presents;
Bone Orchard, Party Girls event at the Library Theatre?
We would love to have that up in the Gallery!

Apparently one of the newly reborn Specimen was recently in a band with a former member of Bone Orchard. Or something. I shall investigate further. _________________ You may not like me now, but you smell. |
