I've found an old VHS of The Rattlesnakes at The Rock Garden in Covent Garden, 1980 something. It's the full gig, with line up of, Rob Weinbrock, Phil Crum, Paul Stonebridge, Greg and me. Sorry it's not the classic line up of Blink, Phil, Steve Lewis and Greg. That's something we'd all love to see, but I doubt if any such piece of mega nostalgia is in existence.
This gig was shite (well I was, the rest of the guys were spot on. After all these years I still put it down to o/ding on hayfever tablets and all day wine drinking) and I am quite embarrased watching it, but.........
I have learnt how to convert VHS into something that can be uploaded onto t'net for anyone that is interested to see it.
Depending on how many folks want to watch this piece of history ( ) that is best forgotten, I'll find a way of posting it here.
Please add a comment on this thread to tell me if it's gonna be worth my while doing it. (ie, do you want to see it)

OK, so noone's interested, but I was bored so here's the first bit anyway. Youtube to watch now and I may put the whole thing on Rapidshare in case anyone wants to download it.

I'll probably stick the rest up on Youtube over the next week or so.
(Judging from my avatar, it looks like I must have found the VHS before. Oh well, senility here I come/am already). |

All downhill from here. Sorry Gregg and the rest of the guys A lesson to be learned here for all budding young musicians. It really isn't a good idea to get messed up before you play.

Rattlers play Tiffany songs!! Well, it was originally a 1967 hit for Tommy James, and we did get there before Tiffany. But, saying we did a Tiffany song gives us cred (doesn't it?).

Here's another. Fat boy takes his shirt off. Why the hell did I used to do that? What a little porker!

OK, so these clips have nowt to do with UKDecay, but noone's told me to shaddup yet (in fact noone's said anything even though this thread has had quite a few hits) so I'll carry on posting.
Hope you're liking them. |

Keep 'em going mate, it's a fantastic trip down memory lane for me. Do you have any with that amazingly handsome and talented blonde bass player who replaced Paul? What was his name again? Oh yeah Leigh |

Fairly recent, 2001 amazing how large amounts of alcohol can preserve the body, since I quit drinking you'll be pleased to hear that I've put on about fifteen pounds, gone back to me Elvis Costello specs and often sport a beard
This is very very cool, a reunion with one of my great musical mentors, thanks to you EVERY band I've been in since has been forced to perform a version of "Tough Shit Wilson". Now if I could only get a copy of what was it? "Harold the Swimming Tortoise"?
How are you pal, life treated you kindly? _________________ "You don't have to live in Wolverhampton to get down
